For all of you Fred Olsen past
passengers out there, if you haven't already heard the Braemar is going back to
the Caribbean early 2015. Fred Olsen pulled out of the Caribbean a few years
ago, but due to popular demand they are back offering a 14 night round trip voyage
from Barbados on the 12th January 2015.
This is the first time,
since 2012, that Fred. Olsen has offered a Caribbean fly-cruise option. Fred's
had operated a winter fly-cruise program from 2001 to 2012 based in Barbados,
but this was concluded to extend the wide choice of ex-UK departure ports,
giving greater convenience to guests from all over the British Isles. Due to
overwhelming feedback from its guests however, Fred's have taken the decision to relocate Braemar back to
the Caribbean for this one off voyage in 2015.
If you are new to Fred Olsen and want
to know a little more, Braemar holds 900 passengers, is classed as a
medium sized ship, will be predominately British on board and has
your traditional formal dining and two dinner sittings. From experience food
on board a Fred Olsen ship is brilliant and best of all everything is
charged in pounds Sterling. This means that compared to its
competitors you’re on board bill should be considerably cheaper.
You can even upgrade to all inclusive for £6.99 a night (if
booked by September). Finally Fred's
do not offer all regional airports, but they do offer flights from either
London Gatwick or Manchester, so if you live in the north or south flights are
available for you.
To summarize, this cruise would be
ideal for passengers wanting to escape the doom and gloom of January's weather,
and the post-Christmas blues, and who are looking for a bit of sunshine. As
usual, I have only really scratched the surface, so any further questions
please let me know.
