If you are not already aware, Sunday was the start of National Cruise Week. But what does this mean to the potential cruiser? It is no secret that the cruise industry is booming, more and more of us are opting to take to the water for our holidays. So if you haven't cruised already, this week the industry will be pulling out all the stops to tempt you to try out life on the ocean waves for yourself..........
So who is offering what, and what benefits can you receive by booking your cruise this week? read on........
P&O are offering an upgrade from inside to outside (obstructed) on Ventura and Azura Caribbean sailings subject to availability.
Fred Olsen, a recent winner at the first ever Cruise Awards will be offering on certain departures and additional on board credit and free transport.
Cunard have massively reduced their transatlantic crossings the prices have been slashed down to as little as £599 for certain sailings in October, November and December 2011.
Silversea Cruises have announced that it will be offering additional savings, on bookings made during National Cruise Week. They are offering an additional saving of £300 per suite (£150 for singles) will be offered on remaining 2011 voyages and 2012 voyages, departing before 30 June 2012.
Royal Caribbean are offering double on board credit for balconies or above on certain sailings (was $100 per cabin, now $200)
Regent are giving $200 per cabin on board spend on all 2012 sailings.
Celebrity are giving $200 per cabin on board credit for balcony cabins and $400 per cabin for suites, again on selected sailings.
Azamara have $500 per cabin on board credit on selected Winter Exotics 2011/2012 sailings again applies to certain sailings.
Oceania are offering $100 per cabin on board credit on most 2012 sailings in addition to any on board credit that is being offered.
