Where to go!

Do you want to go away on a cruise, but are unsure where and need a little help?  Although the majority of people I talk too know exactly when and where they want to go, sometimes a little push in the right direction is required. It may be that you have travelled the Med for the last 10 years in August and are looking for something new. Or maybe you are a first time cruiser and want to know what is popular and where to follow the sun. Either way, read on and I will try to help you  find a suitable solution.........

First of all for all you sun worshippers, where and what time of year is it good to top up your tan? Obviously, the Mediterranean from May to early September is the usual choice, but what if you want to go away the end of the year? If you do not want to go far, the Canaries October to December is usually pretty warm. If you are up for a bit more of a voyage, the Caribbean is a sure fire bet October to March. You will probably have to fly (there are a few from Southampton), but once that is over and done with, good weather, white beaches and crystal clear water are the order of the day.

Feeling exotic? What about the Far East? China, Vietnam, Thailand and more. The best time to travel here is October through April. Although It will probably cost a little more to get here, how many times can you say you have seen the Great Wall, The Forbidden City and Ho Chi Minh City all in one trip and also got a nice tan when doing so? If you can get over the long flight Australia is a perfect destination to see December to March. Seeing the Great Barrier Reef must see for all, but again it will cost a bit more to get here.

If you are stuck for the summer holidays and want to try something different for the Med. Why not try the Baltic, Fjords, Canaries or even Iceland? Or maybe a trip even closer to home around the British Isles? All are different from the norm, but also very interesting places to visit.

Whatever you decide or if you are stuck for choice, give me a call and I'm sure I can give you some suitable itineraries. There is still  a lot I have not mentioned, so if you are looking for something different please let me know.
