Lost and Found!

Cruising is becoming more and more popular for families. Which is brilliant, but the cruise ships are also getting a lot larger, which brings up the question, "How do you keep track of your children on board?" Well it seems that Royal Caribbean have found the solution!

Although It can be argued that a lot of families will try do everything together, keeping children away from the Flow Rider, kids clubs and Video arcade can become a very hard task. Especially when they want to go swimming or use the facilities all the time. From speaking past passengers over the years, there seems to be a lot of parents arranging meeting points and times, only for the kids not to turn up. Meaning either Mum or Dad has the unenviable task of searching high and low for their active brood

So to solve this issue, Royal Caribbean have a tagging system on board for 3 to 11 year olds. Using an electronic device built into the wristbands that all children on the ship must wear, the system enables parents to locate their offspring wherever they are among the ship's 16 decks. So if they are up to no good, or you just want to find them, the whole process has been made a lot easier. This system has been introduced on Oasis of the Sea's already, with 6,300 passengers on board, it’s probably gone down a storm.

I can only imagine this system, makes life as a parent a lot easier and also gives you peace of mind knowing the location and safety of you offspring. If you have trailed the system, or have any more questions please let me know. If this has been a concern, at least you know you can now get big brother to help out!
