Cunard's Got Talent!

What do you do after you have won Britain's top talent contest and where do you go next?  Pantomime? Reality shows? What about performing on board Cunard's flagship vessel the Queen Mary 2?

Britain's Got Talent winners Ashleigh and Pudsey returned home from New York this week on board Cunard's Queen Mary 2. For those who do not remember, Ashley and Pudsey are the first dog act to win BGT. Their exciting and near impossible routines captured the imagination of Britain. After easing through the semi finals, they returned to the final to take the BGT crown and also perform at the Royal Variety performance in front of the Queen.

Ashley and Pudsey have spent the last month performing their winning performance across the United States. On coming home it was business as usual. They sailed back to Southampton on the seven-night Transatlantic voyage,  where they charmed the ship's 2,600 guests. Pudsey danced on his hind legs, jumped through hoops, and spun around as part of their popular Charleston dance routine.

Ashleigh, Pudsey's trainer said “We've really enjoyed our time on board Queen Mary 2, I've been on a cruise ship before but this is the first time I’ve been able to bring Pudsey along, thanks to Queen Mary 2’s remarkable dog-walking deck. The food and service on board were great, and we received such a warm welcome". Luckily for Pudsey, if you haven't already guessed the Queen Mary 2 is the only passenger ship where pet dogs can travel on board with their owners.

I'm sure Ashleigh and Pudsey will continue to impress with their routine, but I  imagine this is probably a one off for Cunard. So if you want to see them  again, you may have to look at other options! For now, if you are a worried about leaving your Cainine friend at home at least you now know the Queen Mary 2 has the solution.
